Theme: Storytelling: a movement through prose
In this season of Brown Bag Online, the theme is storytelling. Stories through dance. Stories through film. Stories through music. Stories through visuals. Stories through prose (narrative-driven structure). Stories with beginnings, middles, and ends. The tale itself is up to you. *winks*

Theme: Resistance (being on the right side of history)
Historically, art has been an integral part of many resistance movements. From protest signs to music to speeches, each piece furthered the desire for change. Each sign represented the collective upheaval and the collective unity.
Art is used to express. Resistance art adds the layer of a call to action. Brown Bag works on a model that art is in conversation with art. This time around, we are emphasizing that art speaks of the reality the artists live in.
