Justice for George Floyd

This week our minds have been occupied with a disheartening trend of police brutality towards brown and black men in the United States, and most recently in our backyard.

On Monday, May 25th George Floyd was murdered by police.  The only reason we know about this murder is because it was recorded. We are angry. We are Sad. We never wanted this to happen again, but

George Floyd was murdered.
George Floyd was human.
George Floyd couldn’t breath.

Now is not the time to be silent. Now is the time to act. To be loud and voice the injustice of a system corrupted by discrimination and prejudice.
